Festival of Whales
What: The Dana Point Whale Festival is one of Southern California’s largest whale celebrations. Visitors come from all over Southern California to celebrate the annual migration of gray whales from Alaska to Mexico. Air + Style
What: Inspired by two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, the fourth annual event features four of his passions ­— sports, music, art and culture. Phoenix, Zedd and Gucci Mane are this year’s music headliners, and more than 20 acts will be performing on two stages. New this year are a street-style snowboarding contest and additional skateboarding competitions.
