Manuel and Rose are a team within The Stevenson Team. Married and Homeowners in Corona, they work together to strive for excellence in customer service. At the heart of that effort are the personal relationships they build with their clients, entertaining them at their home, accompanying them on tours of Corona’s many attractions, even taking them out to dinner at local restaurants. “Our goal is to be more than their realtors,” Rose states. “It’s to become their lifelong friends.”
As longtime residents of Corona, both Manuel and Rose have an extensive knowledge of everything the city has to offer – not only real estate, but recreation, entertainment and the full range of community amenities. Most recently, Manuel worked for the city of Corona, which gave him in-depth perspective and familiarity with the local community and the Inland Empire at large. Rose was previously a community representative at Shea Homes’ Avonlea neighborhood in Corona, where she was involved in the sale of more than 200 homes. It was there that she impressed Heather Stevenson, who was Shea’s vice president, sales and marketing before establishing The Stevenson Team.
Before becoming a team in home sales, Manuel and Rose had diverse backgrounds. Rose developed her expertise in customer service as a client care administrator at a BMW dealership in Newport Beach, where her skills made such an impression on the CEO of Shea Homes that he persuaded her to join his company.
Manuel began his involvement in real estate as a builder of custom homes in Washington State. His role at The Stevenson Team marks a return to selling for Manuel; as a young man, he was a district sales manager in the retail field.
As a couple, Manuel and Rose have continued their teamwork, nurturing a blended family of five children and three grandchildren and sharing many common interests. One of their greatest passions is wine. They travel every year to wineries in Lodi and Paso Robles, selecting vintages that they serve to their friends and clients at wine tastings in their home. Rose is also an avid traveler, having visited Europe several times. When they’re at home, Manuel and Rose enjoy cooking, entertaining and spending time with their family and clients, always as a team.
Sam brings 16 years of real estate sales and mortgage lending experience, as well as a reputation as an industry expert, to The Stevenson Team, where he represents the company with sales in Los Angeles County. Over the years, many of the relationships he has established with clients have turned into long-lasting friendships. Credit for that goes to Sam’s emphasis on building trust. “When I represent a client, I treat them as if it were me buying the home,” he explains. “I never want to push anyone past their comfort level. I safeguard their interests foremost.”
Aside from real estate transactions, Sam has safeguarded individuals’ interests in even more meaningful ways. He spent the last three years providing hospice care to terminal patients, becoming friends with them as well, and he still volunteers as a hospice care specialist. He is also the single father and “soccer dad” to a five-year-old daughter.
Sam’s spare time is spent with books, movies and hiking, and his number-one personal interest is continuing education. “Because things are always changing, you have to be a student for life,” he states. That conviction led Sam to found an industry forum called “Solutions to the Real Estate Problem,” which appears in the online edition of the Wall Street Journal. In addition, Sam founded BrokerHollywood.com, a website that presents exclusive properties in the Hollywood Hills, West Hollywood and Los Feliz areas. Because of his expertise on real estate topics, he has been interviewed numerous time on National Public Radio and other radio stations. His education began in earnest at Arizona State University, where he obtained a degree in finance.
At The Stevenson Team, Sam specializes in luxury homes, fix-up homes, short sales, foreclosures and property management.
With more than 13 years of experience in customer service and support, including more than four years in real estate transaction coordination, accounting and property management, Christina is well-positioned to assist clients of The Stevenson Team. Her move into real estate came in 2009 after 15 years of experience in consultative sales and interior design consulting. “My interior design background gave me a whole new perspective on homes,” she says, “and a clear understanding of the things that are important to a broad spectrum of buyers. As a result, I really love working with buyers. Helping them find their dream home is very exciting to me.”
Christina is has a bachelor’s degree in business, with a concentration in management, and she is emphasizing property management in her professional career. She’s a big sports fan who also enjoys cooking and entertaining; the beach and Disneyland are among her favorite destinations. Also topping her list of extracurricular activities are attending concerts and restoring antique furniture that she finds at flea markets and garage sales. Of course, when she’s not in the office or showing properties, the biggest part of her world is her family...Christina lives in Riverside with her husband and two teenagers, a son and a daughter with whom she plays video games and helps with their homework.
